Background and Release[]
Pn Aug 24, 2020 Korean outlet Ilgan Sports reported that Lovelyz was preparing for a new album, which would be released in September. A representative from the agency did confirm the comeback to be due in September, and they would be showcasing a new side they haven't shown before.[1] On Aug 17, at midnight KST a new teaser announced that their mini-album would be titled "Unforgettable" and it would be released on Sept 1, 2020. On Aug 23, the tracklist was revealed, revealing the lead title track "Obliviate" as well.[2]
